The training period of “EARTH – Empowering young people in Eco- & Agro- Rural Tourism to Help local development” program that took place in Benevento and in some villages of the province from the 5 th to 9 th of March 2018, saw the participants involved in a path that tried to combine theoretical and pratical experciences on the concept of eco and agritourism as flywheel for the develpoment of rural areas.
The participants stayed at the agritourim “Barbati” in Roccabascerana (AV)
DAY 3 (7 March): From the third day on, the training path got to the heart with the tour of the social vegetable garden of Casa Betania in the Benevento’s city centre. The participants visited the structure and the social vegetable garden and they tried to prepare pizza and other food helped by the garden’s managers. In the afternoon the training continued at the agritourism Barbati where the participants joined the lab of production of cheese and visited the wine celler in order to know Sannio’s and Irpinia’s variety of wine. Dinner was held at the agritourism Barbati.
