Famullia “Shën Luka Ungjilltar”

Activities of our Parish is mainly divided in religious activities, educational activities and social aid activity.

The mission takes place in its three centers located in Berat, Uznove and Kucove.

Each center has its own relevant activities including: after-school program with the children from elementary school, the center for the children with special needs and the projects for the youngsters of the parish.

Currently there are being developed two main projects; EARTH project on eco and agro tourism, and MERR ZEMER a volunteer project related to an all-inclusive and entertaining environment for the children with special needs. These projects aim to encourage the youngsters, who are not working, to create a future in one of these fields as well as follow their passions.

One of the main activities of the parish is evangelization of the area nearby, including villages [near Berat, Uznova and Kucova]. Apart from evangelization, one other main activity is helping the poor and the sick in these villages and other areas that are part of the parish.

During summer the number of activities increases considerably, welcoming friends from other cities or countries. In all three centers there are held summer camps for the children, in where the youngsters of the parish get into the roles of animators and coordinators voluntarily.

One of the most important and interesting activities is ‘Mother Teresa’ week, which is a full week dedicated to serving the poor and the sick.

Other activities to be mentioned are formative camps with the youngsters, services in the parish, meetings on the Word from the Bible.
