Shkodra “Kolping” Center was built in 2002. It has established a center for the vocational training of youth and other services to help the community.

Kolping youth of Shkodra family is very active. They are involved in activities which are organized by structures of the church, different organizations and they also compile and implement different projects.

The activities of the center are divided into three sectors:

1. Vocational Training courses for young people

2. Bar-Restaurant

3. Hotel

The main objective of the project was the adaptation of renewable energy (sunlight panels etc.) to heat the water, with the scope of energy efficiency usage, environmental protection and costs reduction.

What make them different from the others:

Low prices for their students to offer to all strata the possibility to attend these courses. Discount up to 50% to persons in need and members from religious institutions and in some special cases these courses are offered for free, when the students belong to very poor families and for them it is impossible to pay.
