In the framework of the EARTH project – Empowering Young People in Eco and Agro Rural Tourism to Help Local Development, with participants from the Balkans and the Region, an informative meeting was held in Berat with representatives of local organizations, institutions and tourism stakeholders in the city. In this briefing the project progress was presented in the respective phases with the meetings held in each of the participating countries (Montenegro, Greece, Italy, Serbia, Kosovo and Albania), discussed and mentioned examples of success in eco and agro tourism. , and how these ideas and practices can be implemented in our country, an area with high tourist potential. Mr. Petrit Fiska, representative of the first certified agrotourism in Berat and Albania, also introduced and explained the idea of ​​moving from a canteen and restaurant service to a genuine agrotourism structure and a guaranteed example of success. The presentation was followed by a constructive discussion on possible ideas to stimulate and motivate the youth of the area to implement their creative ideas in the tourism sector.
