The training period of “EARTH – Empowering young people in Eco- & Agro- Rural Tourism to Help local development” program that took place in Benevento and in some villages of the province from the 5 th to 9 th of March 2018, saw the participants involved in a path that tried to combine theoretical and pratical experciences on the concept of eco and agritourism as flywheel for the develpoment of rural areas.

The participants stayed at the agritourim “Barbati” in Roccabascerana (AV)

DAY 1 (5 March): The participants met up in the conference hall of social village in Roccabascerana where they did activities of ice breaking and team building to get to know each other and to tell their work and training expericences. Later the guys met the “hosts” of social village: people who are facing an individualized therapeutic rehabilitative path or people who, partecipanting at the project “Free the sentence”, serve the sentence out of the jail learning a job that could facilitate their inclusion in the labour market. After lunch, the training went on with the interventions of Fabio
Garrisi and Angelo Moretti, respectively president and general manager of Consorzio Sale della Terra, who illustrated to the participants the story of the Consorzio and of the project of small municipalities of welcome & welfare. Dinner was held in a pizzera of Benevento after a walk in the historical city centre.
