Induction moment: Once reaching the front desk of Kapodistriou 52 st. the visitors are introduced to the activities of the project and can offer their help to “volunteer”. In this case, they are asked to provide their personal details and to sign the register. Afterwards, the visitors are waited at the office of the 4 th floor where the staff of the refugee program give a brief explanation of the volunteer activities.

Refugee center – Every day from 9.30 to 14.00
Right in the center of the city, the headquarter of Caritas (both Caritas Greece & Caritas Athens) is a reliable source of services that many people use every day. The soup kitchen of Caritas Athens, even if it’s not the only one operating in the municipality, offers around 500 meals per day. The clothes distribution service is constantly filled up and emptied because of the huge quantities on constant offer. The children friendly space is a safe place offered to the parents who are seeking for some time a relief from their parental duties and are in need to settle bureaucratic issues or for any other reason.
