The series of meetings and capacity building events continue : In the framework of the EARTH project – Empowering Young People in Eco and Agro Rural Tourism to Help Local Development, with participants from the Balkans and the Region, an informative meeting was held in Shkoder with representatives of local organizations, institutions and tourism stakeholders in the city. All participants had great interest in the further development of eco and agro tourism in Albania and especially the northern Albania, which is recently boosting the numbers of these structures created. In this briefing the project progress was presented in the respective phases with the meetings held in each of the participating countries (Montenegro, Greece, Italy, Serbia, Kosovo and Albania), discussed and mentioned examples of success in eco and agro tourism. , and how these ideas and practices can be implemented in our country which has high tourist potential. The meeting was held in a very strategic location, in the premises of EKO club, founded by EKO mendje NGO (eco mind), whose members are great ambassadors of eco tourism in the region by encouraging bike tours, walking tours and local experiences etc..
